Robbie Seay Band - Shine Your Light On Us
I have never been more desperate for God to use me, I have been more eager to see God move in my generation and I walk around, in my life, in this perpetual state of expectancy and this hunger to see God move because I see so many lives around me, just wasting away and I was on the train a few days ago - everyone’s busy, with their phone, their iPod, their iPad, their book, their Kindle - and this is what modern society tells us is the meaning of life; that if you have lots of “things”, material things, that your life is good, you’re on the right track, you’re someone. But I know that there is only one Being in whom there is fulfillment, and joy everlasting, and it sounds so cliche and typical to say these things but I can assure you, that there is nothing typical about Yahweh - He is a force, a force to be reckoned with and in my life, He is bigger and brighter than the sun, everything about Him is glory and goodness and my prayer everyday on my knees, is that my generation will acknowledge this and in doing so, find real purpose, real worth, real life. I’m praying everyday, “Rend the Heavens, open the Heavens and just pour out your spirit and let these people know You, let them come face to face with the wonder and majesty that is You”.
Oh that you would rend the heavens and come down, that the mountains might quake at your presence - Isaiah 54:1
All night long I search for you; in the morning I earnestly seek for God. For only when you come to judge the earth will people learn what is right - Isaiah 26:9 (NLT)
