..God gives me the weirdest analogies for my relationship with Him. I’ve come to understand that walking in surrender with God is pretty much accepting that you won’t understand everything that He does and that when you try to rationalise His plan, you’re gonna fail because it won’t always make a lot of sense to you and that sometimes, His will can almost be painful, it can seem like the scariest thing in the world and God gave me the analogy of a little baby, with his mother trying to feed him some baby food, and he doesn’t like it, he doesn’t like it at all. And he’s squirming, crying his little eyes out because he does not want that food. It does not look appealing. But his mother knows best and she wants him to grow big and strong and she wants to do right by Him. Sound familiar? God’s will can sometimes be the scariest thing in the world. But it’s good for you. It’s that simple. His thoughts, are not evil, He has no desire to harm us, He has a plan, and He loves us, He is far wiser than us and we have to trust that. All the time.
